A Rate Card gives information provided by a newspaper/ magazine etc. about the rates they charge for advertising. This includes advertising space, any artwork needed, size of adverts differences in price between local and national publication.
Advertisers' information packs - Companies will produce information packs to advertise what they do. They do this by giving an introduction about the company when it started and useful websites. It may give the history of the company and explain when the products were introduced. It will show the branding and the vision of the company and how it tries to achieve this. They will examine the marketing and give information about some of the products e.g. when they were launched and how much profit they've made. They may include some facts about the company. Also they may show how buildings are used in the business e.g. they will make sure they are in good locations with plenty of parking. There maybe information about human resources, finances, charity work, management structure and careers information.
Research agencies identify, collect and analyse the preferences, attitudes and behaviours of consumers. They communicate this information to companies so that they can solve problems and take opportunities in marketing. There are websites e.g. greenbook.org where names of research agencies are listed e.g. Michael Cohen Group, Databank Marketing Research and MSW Research.
